Argo Surety Agents Announcement


Argonaut Insurance Company (“AIC”) has received confirmation of its Certificate of Authority from the United States Treasury Department as an acceptable surety on bonds to the federal government. The company’s underwriting limitation will be $46.6 million.

This is welcome news to all of us at Argo Surety and is a significant step towards accomplishing one of our original goals of issuing all bonds in the name of Argonaut Insurance Company. The recognition by U.S. Treasury is an exceptionally gratifying way to conclude 2008, Argo Surety’s inaugural year of operation, and positions us very favorably for 2009 and beyond.

2008 has been a successful year for Argo Surety by many different measures and we look forward to continue building upon our progress in order to be a more responsive and valuable resource to you and your clients.
