Argo Surety has taken an important step towards realizing its goal of becoming a premier underwriter of specialty and standard surety products by hiring two talented individuals who form the beginning nucleus of its commercial surety underwriting activities.

Josh Betz and Sarah Heineman have joined the company's Houston office to develop Argo Surety's plan of offering surety credit to a broad range of Fortune 1000 companies operating in various industries across the country. They come to Argo Surety from the Houston office of Traveler's Bond and Financial Products Division where they held the highest local positions responsible for business development and client servicing.

The addition of these two highly professional and experienced people will have an immediate and positive impact on the launch of our commercial surety business unit. Josh’s immediate past position as managing director and Sarah’s senior underwriting position has enabled both of them to foster strong working relationships with their agency contacts and the executive decision makers at the companies they bonded.

Argo Surety's commercial surety business plan includes underwriting capacity up to $25 million for qualifying accounts and exposures.
